Harii Bandhu: Press

stirringchordscropped283x400.jpg Every once in a while, through random chance or divine intervention, the world is given a gift in the form of a special talent. Such is the talent of Harii Bandhu, a special gift from the universe.

With his unique style and sound, it is hard to compare Harii to anyone else, the closest example I can give would be 'Donald Fagan' from 'Steely Dan'. Not directly in the sense that he sounds like him, but in the sense that both are constantly striving for perfection where music isn't just a part of their lives, it 'is' their lives.

Harii Bandhu's new album 'Goddess' is destined to become a classic. From the pure 'makes you feel like dancing' joy of 'The Look of 1000 Kisses' to the intricately woven fabric of harmonies in 'Swoon', Harii embraces many different genres effortlessly, while tying them together with the common thread of his distinctive, individual style.

Perfectly arranged and realised, every song is rich with texture and tantalising flavours. His collaboration with Icelandic Producer - 'Geir (Gunnarsson) Brillian' is a perfect match; something akin to that partnership of 'Alan Parsons' and 'Pink Floyd' which created 'The Dark Side Of The Moon'.

Art, in whatever form, is a created sensory event which affects us on a deep, emotional, spiritual level. Harii Bandhu's songs not only vibrate the drums in your ears; he affects every molecule in your body, giving you a spiritual high that only a few artists have achieved in the past.
